  my father in law's sow has been a pioneer for what...twenty plus years now?

  she has yet to see any of her studies progress to baptism.

  i know this is an excellent thing but to jw's you would think it would be tragic.

  wow, so far 4 out of 4 "worldly" people i've talked to about my situation, actually care.

  i mean ive been telling myself that most people would care.

  but i can just tell, by the way i feel shocked and surprised at their genuine interest to listen and help, that subconsciously, i still feel like no worldly person cares.

  i've had a discussion with a friend concerning the gb or org being "inspired" or "spirit-directed" or a "prophet".

  i found the great strings about claiming prophet status (particularly 04/01/1972 wt and 10/01/1982 wts).. it seems i recall a wt or other publication where they compared themselves to moses, or even jesus as the one channel being used by jehovah.

  while i don't recall any claim of "inspiration", there are dozens using "spirit-directed organization".. interestingly, note the reference to jesus:.

  as referred to in this thread, ray franz's book crisis of conscience, arguably the most important book for ex jws to read - has been out of print for months but is available from amazon at $100+.. internet explorer, probably the most commonly used internet browser - is not compatible with this website.. most young jws probably access the internet via a smartphone but good luck trying to post to this website on one.. .

  I have found IE using the compatability button is the only one which works properly for me.

  I like Safari best which is way faster than IE and is fine for lurking and basic replies here but any links posted won't be clickable.

  The problem is.........the minute they accept humans did not originate with Adam and Eve their whole ransome doctrine for sin, falling from grace etc becomes an epic fail.

  Their answer, don't read anything not approved by us. Which is why I believe the GB know exactly what they are doing keeping the sheeple in the dark about the indisputable facts of evolution.
